Is Fable 5.5 out in the Claude app?
The official Fable product page and help article describe Fable 5.1 access on paid Claude plans. The help article distinguishes access from included usage: Pro and standard Team seats use usage credits, while Max and eligible premium seats have included-use limits.
Anthropic’s Opus product page separately lists Opus 5.5 for Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise users. Neither statement verifies Fable 5.5 access. We have not inspected your account, region, model picker or remaining allowance.

API: an exact identifier matters
The checked documentation supplies claude-fable-5-1 for Fable 5.1 and claude-opus-5-5 for Opus 5.5. We have no verified Fable 5.5 API identifier to publish.
A similar-looking string is not enough to establish an official model. When checking a provider listing, match the name to its documentation and distinguish a listed model from access enabled for your particular account.

Cloud availability has a separate scope
Anthropic’s Fable 5.1 documentation lists the Claude API, Amazon Bedrock, Google Cloud, Microsoft Foundry and Claude Platform on AWS. This is vendor documentation for Fable 5.1, not a test of each service.
We have not independently checked partner consoles, deployment regions or account entitlements. Those channels remain marked as not directly checked. A successful check in one channel would not establish availability in every other channel.
Before treating a link as usable access
Confirm the exact model name, who operates the service, the eligible plan or account, and whether access actually works. A waitlist invitation means you can register interest; it does not mean the model is usable.
